England have made a big change by including right-arm fast bowler Brayden Carse in the team in place of Gus Atkinson. The England Cricket Board has also included another wicketkeeper Jamie Smith in the team of 12 players. The second match of the five-match T20 series between India and England will be played in Chennai on Saturday.

Gus Atkinson did not perform as expected in the first T20 match played in Kolkata. He scored only two runs in 13 balls and conceded 38 runs in two overs while bowling. After his poor performance, the team decided to make changes. Brayden Carse has played 4 matches for England and taken 6 wickets. He will be seen playing in India for the first time.

England have included Jamie Smith in their 12-player squad for the second match, as there is still doubt about Jacob Bethel’s participation in the match. According to media reports, Bethel, who scored 7 runs in 14 balls in Kolkata, could not attend the pre-match training session on Friday due to illness.
