Of Jharkhand A railway accident took place on Tuesday (April 1) in Sahibganj. Two freight trains collided with each other on the Barhat MGR line. Three people, including a pilot, were killed in the accident, while four CISF personnel were injured. Due to the collision between the goods trains, coal laden was caught in them. Many firefighters have reached the spot and rescue operations are still going on.
How did the accident happen?
According to the report, the accident occurred in Sahibganj at around 3:30 AM on Tuesday morning. An empty freight train coming from Farakka was standing on the Barhet mountain, when a coal -laden coal train going towards Lalmatia hit her strongly. After the collision, coal -laden goods train caught fire and several coaches derailed. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started an attempt to control the fire. Relief and rescue operations are going on.
Three people, including a pilot, were killed in the accident while four CISF personnel were injured. The injured are being treated at Barhat Sadar Hospital. After the incident, the administrative team reached the spot and started the investigation.
