Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar said in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday that the poor had been deprived of food grains. Because the poor are yet to get slips for rations, they are facing problems, he said.

After Tomar raised the issue, several other members spoke about the difficulties in distribution of rations.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Govind Singh Rajput said the Central Government’s quota of food grains for its distribution among the people coming under the BPL category had already been full.
CM asked to work out the problem
So, the addition of new names to the list has become a problem, Rajput said. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav asked the minister to work out the problems.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has advised his ministerial colleagues to keep away from issuing any statement on Waqf issue. Yadav made the statement in an informal meeting with his cabinet colleagues.
The Waqf Bill is going to be presented to Parliament on Wednesday. The Central Government does not any dispute on this sensitive issue. This is the reason why Yadav has forbidden his ministerial colleagues to issue any statement.
