News India Live, Digital Desk: The government has issued a detailed FAQ (Q.R.) to government employees to remove the holiday questions and apprehensions. These quiz provide clear information about the rules of government employees, holidays taken during foreign services and holidays found in other special situations.
Constant holiday limits and results: According to the government, no government employee can remain on leave for more than five consecutive years. If an employee (except foreign service) takes more than five consecutive years of leave, his service will be considered to be ended automatically. This will be seen as an employee’s resignation.
Rules related to Leave Incashing: The government has clarified that employees are advised to take Leave Incashing (holiday allowance) in advance, especially in the context of Leave Travel Consestion (LTC). However, leave inchesion can be done even after the end of the holiday in special circumstances.
Child Care Leave Rules: Child care leave (child care holiday) facility is available to women employees to take care of children. If the female employee’s child is studying abroad or it is necessary for the employee to take care of her abroad, then this holiday can be taken by completing the prescribed procedures.
Rules of Educational Holiday (Study Leave): Study leave facility is also available for government employees. General employees may get a total of two years of study holiday during their entire service period. Employees can also take it separately or in between. This period can be extended to 36 months for Central Health Service employees and post graduate qualifications.
The government has advised the employees to understand these rules and instructions completely so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided in future.
