Elon Musk News: The world’s richest businessman and billionaire Elon Musk has made a big comment on India’s electoral system. Comparing the US Presidential elections with the Indian Lok Sabha elections, he said that 640 million i.e. 64 crore votes have been counted in a day in India, but the counting of votes is still going on in the American state of California.

Elon Musk, owner of social media site X, has expressed his opinion on social media. Musk wrote, ‘India has counted 64 crore votes in one day, while counting of votes is still going on in California.’
Counting of votes has started in America
Let us tell you that voting took place in America on 5-6 November. After which the counting of votes has started till now. California is also one of those states. However, counting of votes in other states of America has been completed and Donald Trump has been declared the winner in this election. Trump will now take oath as the President of America in January. However, the fundamental difference between Indian and US elections is that in the US, voting is still done through ballot paper whereas India has opted for EVMs for voting years ago.
Another user wrote that India has counted 640 million watts in a day but California is still counting 15 million i.e. 15 million watts. However, 18 days have passed since voting ended.
