Kathmandu, 23 November (HS). Elon Musk, who is planning to provide internet across the world through satellite, has started efforts to operate it in Nepal also. For this, Musk himself has personally requested Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Elon Musk talked to Prime Minister Oli on this topic through video conference late on Friday night. Sharing information about this, Prime Minister Oli said on Twitter that there was a discussion between Elon Musk and him on providing internet facility in Nepal through Starlink. Oli said that Elon Musk’s team, which provides internet facilities to the entire world through satellite, also showed a demo of the use of Starlink in Nepal.

Musk has urged the Prime Minister of Nepal to allow the use of Starlink in Nepal. Starlink’s Global Licensing and Marketing Director Rebecca Skill Hunter said that Musk informed Prime Minister Oli about the facilities and facilities provided by Starlink. He also urged Prime Minister Oli to make changes in some laws regarding the registration of Starlink in Nepal. However, the Prime Minister did not give any answer in this regard.
