Mumbai – A couple died due to an electric shock while sleeping at night in a shocking incident in Baramati in Pune district. Due to the short circuit in the table fan’s wire, as soon as the wire reached an iron bed, the couple got electrocuted, they were hit. This tragedy occurred due to the grief generated after that. The couple who died in this incident are named Navnath Ram Pawar (40) and Sangeeta Navnath Pawar (38).
According to further information, both Sangeeta and Navnath went to sleep in their room after eating food at 10:30 pm on 1 April. The power supply was interrupted at around 12:30 pm. After some time the power supply was restored. Meanwhile, the table fan’s wire was a short circuit, causing it to burn and when the wire came in contact with the iron bed, on which the couple were sleeping, there was an electric current in the iron bed. As a result, the couple suffered a serious shock in sleep and died.
After this incident, when the door of the couple’s house did not open for a long time in the morning, the neighbors made a voice. However, the neighbors gathered when no response was received and reported it to one of his relatives. In the end, everyone together opened the door of the house and found the couple dead on an iron bed.
A relative of the deceased Navnath informed the police about the incident and a team of Malegaon police reached the spot, conducted a panchnama of the scene and sent the couple’s bodies for postmortem. After this incident, the police is further investigating to find out whether the incident was really natural or there was any disturbance in it.
