Electric car price hike: The price of this electric car ending the reign of Nexon and Creta increased by ₹ 60,000

News India Live, Digital Desk: Electric car price hike: Ever since MG Windsor EV came in the electric car market, it has created panic. First the company’s low-range model cell harassed Tata Nexon EV to Tata Curve EV. Now its high range model has come in the market and has become a headache for electric cars like Tata Nexon Max and Hyundai Creta.

MG Windsor Pro (High Range Model) has been launched only a few days. The company had kept an introductory price for the initial 8,000 booking, which was Rs 17.79 lakh, but now it has increased by Rs 60,000.

Price of MG Windsor Pro

The company has given a 52.9 kwh battery pack in MG Windsor Pro. Its single charge range is 449 km. Now if you take this car with a ‘BAAS’ option, then first the 12.50 rupees you had to pay, it will now be 13.09 lakh rupees. At the same time, the fare of the battery will have to be paid 4.5 km per km.

Similarly, at the price of Rs 17.79 lakh, you were getting this car with the first battery. Now you may have to pay up to Rs 18.60 lakh for this.

This car became a headache for everyone

MG Windser and MG Windsor have remained a headache for the rest of the companies since coming to the Pro market. The company has introduced the option of Battery Edge A Service (BAAS) for the first time with these cars. This has reduced the car’s upfront cost. At the same time, in the battery option on rent, you do not have to pay the amount of rent simultaneously. In such a situation, the ownership cost of the car decreases.

The company’s low-range Windser also contains a 38 kwh battery. It also gives a single charge range of about 332 km. Its initial price remains just Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
