A shocking video has emerged showing stray dogs attacking an elderly woman in Nai Abadi, Khanna, Punjab, on Wednesday. The victim, a housemaid, was attempting to escape the dogs by rushing towards a house gate but failed to enter in time.

One stray dog pulled her by her clothing, causing her to fall. Other dogs quickly surrounded her, biting her arm and face while she lay helpless. Fortunately, another woman intervened by hurling objects at the dogs, causing them to disperse.

Witnesses gathered at the scene, and the victim was subsequently taken to the hospital. According to a Times of India report, she required approximately 40 stitches to treat her wounds.

This incident follows a similar recent case in Punjab where another woman was mauled by stray dogs during a morning walk.

In separate news, a three-year-old boy was mauled to death by stray dogs while playing outside his house in the Kosi Kalan town of the district on Wednesday.

The family rushed the boy to a nearby hospital, where doctors referred him to a district hospital due to the severity of his injuries. The boy died on the way to the district hospital.
