Former Karnataka DGP Another shocking revelation has been revealed after Om Prakash’s murder was revealed by his wife on Sunday. The 68 -year -old retired DGP was killed by a slippers on the stomach and chest. It is learned that during a quarrel with the wife over a property dispute, the wife threw chili powder at the first husband, tied her with ropes and then stabbed her with a knife and killed her. The glass bottle was also used in the attack.

Mother and daughter questioned for 12 hours

According to sources, after the murder, the retired officer’s wife himself informed another police officer about the murder. The police later reached the spot. Om Prakash’s wife and his daughter were arrested. Both were questioned for about 12 hours. Investigations are underway to find out if there was any role in the murder of his daughter. The DGP’s son has filed a complaint in the case.

Murder over a quarrel

The report has revealed that there was a dispute between Om Prakash and his wife over land and property. Om Prakash had given one of his assets to one of his relatives. Due to which there was a fight between the two. As the debate increased, the fight between the two started. Later the wife put chili powder in her husband’s eyes and tied it with a rope. And stabbed him in the chest and stomach and killed him.

The police came to know about the murder in the morning.

ACP Vikas Kumar of Bengaluru said, “We were informed about the murder of former DGP at 4 am yesterday.” Om Prakash was a 1981 batch IPS officer. He became the DGP of Karnataka in 2015. Earlier, he served as heads of fire brigade, emergency services and home guard departments.
