Strong earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of North India on Tuesday morning. People in many states including UP, Bihar and Delhi experienced earth tremors. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake’s magnitude was measured at 7.1, and its epicenter was in Tibet’s Shizhang area near the Nepal border. The earthquake was recorded at 6:35 am.

The impact of the earthquake was also felt in Palghar district of Maharashtra.

    • Location: Dahanu Taluka.
    • Localities: Bordi, Dapchari and Talasari.
    • The administration said that there was no loss of life or property.
