An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred in the mountainous Badakhshan region of Afgh.stan at around 6.30 am today. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) has confirmed the earthquake. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Badakhshan region at 36.32 north latitude and 71.37 east longitude. Two earthquakes have occurred earlier this week. Last month, more than 10 earthquakes occurred in this area.
