A total of one thousand people have been killed in the earthquake in Myanmar so far. In such a situation, India is fully prepared to help its neighboring country. 15 tonnes of relief material from India has reached Yangon. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said that Operation Brahma has started. The first consignment of humanitarian aid from India has reached the Yangon Airport in Myanmar.

 

The Foreign Minister said that IAF_MCC-130 has been sent to blankets, tarpaulin, sanitation kits, sleeping bags, solar lamps, food packets and kitchen sets. Medical facilities have also been sent through this. Here the 8th Battalion of NDRF and Indian Air Force has become part of this rescue operation to help people affected by earthquakes in Myanmar.

15 tonnes of relief material sent to Myanmar was sent by Indian Air Force aircraft from Hindon Air Base. Relief materials include food, medical aid, shelter and other essential commodities for the people there. With his help, people affected by the recent earthquake in Myanmar will be helped. This mission of India reflects India’s active role in providing timely assistance to neighboring countries in times of crisis.

 

Relief material handed over to Yangon Chief Minister U Soi Thein

Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that relief material has been handed over to Myanmar. Today, the first consignment of relief material was formally handed over to Yangon Chief Minister U Soi Thein by Ambassador Abhay Thakur in Yangon.

 

 

 

Indian Navy ships INS Satpura and INS Savitri have left for Yangon with 40 tonnes of human assistance for earthquake affected Myanmar. This mission underlines India’s commitment to India’s “neighbor first” policy to provide quick assistance during emergency conditions.
