Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The implementation of e-office system at Bhopal collector’s office will begin on May 1, which was the key point of discussion at the weekly review meeting presided over by district collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh on Monday.

From the decided date, all official work will be conducted electronically and hard copies of files will no longer be accepted at collector’s office.

In addition to e-office execution, SDMs were asked to conduct fire audits at coaching institutes, hospitals, hotels, firecracker stores and other institutions under their jurisdiction.

Collector Singh directed to take rigorous action against unlawful mining and unlicensed settlements.

Singh expressed dissatisfaction over delay in addressing CM Helpline issues, urging daily evaluation of unresolved complaints, particularly those older than 50 days.

The collector asked officials to prepare a comprehensive plan to promote water conservation under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan.
