Drunk Husband Kills Wife By Banging Her Head To Wall After Dispute Over Drinking In UP’s Bareilly | Representational Image
Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), February 26: In a shocking incident, a man was arrested on Wednesday (February 26) for killing his wife in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly. The man killed his wife under the influence of alcohol. There are reports that an argument erupted between the husband and the wife after the accused reached home drunk. The wife was protesting against his drinking habits. The man thrashed the woman brutally and then reportedly banged her head into the wall after which she died.
There are reports that the incident occurred in Moraniya village which falls under the Izzatnagar Police Station area. The police reached the spot on receiving the information about the murder and initiated an inquiry. They conducted the panchnama and took the dead into their custody. They sent the dead body to the hospital for post-mortem.
The deceased has been identified as Priya and the accused husband has been identified as Jitendra. Jitendra is in police custody and the police is currently interrogating the accused.
Additional Superintendent of Police/Area Officer City III, District Bareilly said that they received an information about the murder after which the reached the spot and found the dead body of the woman from the spot. They did the panchnama and took the accused into the custody and they are interrogating the accused into their custody.
