Bhagalpur, 14 November (HS). Dr. Ramashish Purve has been made the Registrar of Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University. Its notification has been issued by RL Chongthu, Principal Secretary of Raj Bhavan. He has been made the Registrar till further orders.
Dr. Ramashish Purve has been appointed after the resignation of Dr. Vikas Chandra. It is noteworthy that Dr. Chandra had submitted his resignation to Raj Bhavan on 15 October. Raj Bhavan accepted this. It is being told that after October 15, TMBU had sent a panel of names of three teachers of the university to the Raj Bhavan for registrar. In this, the name of a head and an officer of the university itself was mentioned. But Raj Bhavan appointed Dr. Purve.
Dr. Vikas Chandra, who became the Registrar of TMBU in the third week of January this year, has always been in controversies. A day earlier, the employees had beaten him for not passing the salary bill. Whereas in various cases the VC had given show cause one and a half dozen times. It is noteworthy that Dr. Ramashish Purve was the head of PG Commerce of TMBU and director of BBA in Marwari College.
