Don’t Construe Denotified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Community As Criminals: CM Mohan Yadav | FPJ
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Denotified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic community talents shall be promoted in the state. Many students of the said community have achieved success in competitive exams such as Public Service Commission (PSC). On the basis of old history or preconception, all people of the community shall not be construed as criminals.
Even in police action, caste-based things shall not be told. caste should not be mentioned in information of criminals. Such kind of things shall be avoided. He was reviewing the works of Backward Class & Minority Department and Denotified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic department at Samatava Bhawan situated at CM House on Tuesday.
He said that at district level, police shall make efforts to alienate such people (of the community) from crime who have joined crime world due to some reasons. He praised Rajgarh police for works done to the welfare of Sasi caste.
Work of scholarship distribution within time limit
Minister for backward class & minority welfare, Denotified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic department, Krishna Gaur informed that from next session, work of distributing scholarships will be done in a stipulated time frame. The work of digitisation of Waqf properties is being done with the cooperation of revenue department. It was informed by officers that there are 51 castes of Denotified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic community.
