“Let me explain it to you in clear words” These are the words of a Danish MP, who also used abusive language on US President Donald Trump. These heated negotiations were for control of Greenland. Trump has repeatedly talked about controlling Greenland in his statements. Amidst all this, Danish MP Anders Vistisen has lodged a strong protest. Since Donald Trump took oath as the President of America, he has been continuously making statements on the Greenland issue. He also talked about control of Greenland during his election campaign.
Use of abusive words for Donald Trump
Greenland has been an important part of Denmark for centuries. Amidst all this, Danish MP Anders Vistisen in the European Parliament said that Dear President Trump, you have heard one thing carefully that Greenland has been a part of Denmark for 800 years. It is an integral part of Denmark. This is not a part for sale. We have made this clear for you. After this heated debate, abusive language was also used for Donald Trump.
Vice President of the European Parliament Nicole Stefanuta criticized Anders. And said that such language should not be used in Parliament. Such words will not be counted in the House. Earlier, Greenland’s Prime Minister Mute Inga had said that Greenland is theirs and it is not something that can be sold.
What is Trump’s intention?
Donald Trump had earlier said that Greenland is very important for America in view of national security. That’s why they want to capture Greenland. But on this side people are asking why Trump wants to establish his dominance over Greenland. All these things can be included in the location of Greenland. It is a part of the North American continent. And it is also connected to Europe. Trump wants to occupy Greenland by putting it in charge of national security. But the truth is that Trump wants to exploit the natural resources present on this land. Importantly, Greenland was a colony of Denmark until 1953. And Denmark is still in control today. But there is a semi-autonomous government here. Here the government of Greenland takes decisions in all matters. Therefore the right to decide on defense and foreign affairs rests with the Danish government.
