Japanese market shines

Japan’s Nikkei 225 index rose 2.2 percent to 34,325.59. Companies like Advantest Corp and TDK Corp increased by more than 4 percent. Shares of semiconductor companies led the market. The topics index also rose 2 percent to 2,515.53.

 

According to reports, Trump is now intensifying talks on trade agreements with countries such as Japan and South Korea to compete with China. Its impact is being seen on the stock markets here.

Status of South Korea and Hong Kong

KOSPI of South Korea rose 0.89% and Kosdaq 1.44%. The Hang Seng index rose 2.15% to 21,363.88 points, which is its biggest lead in two weeks. Australia’s ASX 200 was also 0.71% above.

Indian market closed today

On the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, the Indian Stock Exchange (BSE, NSE) and derivative markets will remain closed on 14 April (Monday). The commodity market will open at 5 pm. The trade will start again from April 15 (Tuesday). The Sensex rose by 1,310 points on Friday after the decision to postpone the high customs duty imposed on various countries including India for three months, while the Nifty rose by 429 points. The Sensex rose 1,310.11 points or 1.77 percent to close at 75,157.26. The Nifty also rose 429.40 points, or 1.92 percent, closed at 22,828.55 points.

American futures also accelerated.

American futures were also seen in green due to Trump’s tariff decision. S&P 500 futures increased by 0.6%, while Nasdaq 100 futures increased by 0.9 percent. Dow Jones increased by 0.3%.
