Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Guests had a narrow escape after a speeding car lost control and crashed into a wedding venue in Madhya Pradesh’s Maihar on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Amarpatan town of Maihar and was captured on the CCTV camera installed at the roadside.
The CCTV clip shows the villagers sitting on the chairs at the event venue when suddenly a white-coloured car came in crashing. It rammed into some two-wheelers parked near the wall before finally coming to a halt. A woman in a red saree was passing by with a child at the same time and had a close shave. The crash left the guests shocked and panicked.
According to information, the incident happened at a social event, said to be a wedding, in Amarpatan town of Maihar on Tuesday. A doctor was driving a white car, when he lost the control on the steering wheel. The speeding car crashed into the event, colliding into several two-wheelers parked outside the tent. The driver applied emergency brakes to stop the roaring car and save the locals.
The villagers were sitting on the chairs placed barely 30 meters away. They had a close shave, and fortunately, no one was injured or harmed in the accident.
