Aditya Thackeray publicly criticized political pressure and the transfer of the project to Gujarat due to the Gujarat assembly elections. After this, this project has now gone out of the hands of Gujarat state. This was a major setback for Gujarat.

Foxconn project transferred to Uttar Pradesh
After Maharashtra and Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh has got a Foxconn project. This will create large scale employment generation in Uttar Pradesh. It is expected that millions of people will get employment under this project. The central government has approved the construction of its seventh semiconductor plant to Foxconn. This project with an investment of Rs 3,700 crore will be built near Jewar Airport in Yamuna Expressway Industrial Area in Uttar Pradesh. Revenue receiving revenue from this project is likely to begin.
