Bhopal: Discussion, Puppet Show, Dance, Rap Songs, Expo For Water Conservation | Representative Image
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A two-day event ‘Water for All, All for Water’ began with a round table meeting, exhibition, puppet show, rap songs and dance at Ravindra Convention Centre here on Friday.
Higher education minister Inder Singh Parmar inaugurated the event. He emphasized on water awareness and conservation measures.
An exhibition of children’s paintings focusing on the theme of Water Sanitation and Health (WASH) was also organised. The event featured engaging performances promoting WASH Awareness.
People involved in the round table meeting shared their experiences and told how WASH can be delivered to the community in easy ways and how we can take it to a larger level by strengthening the government system.
IPS Anuradha Shankar said that awareness and behaviour change in the community can be easily created through such mediums more than simply talking about it.
Ranjan Panda, known as the ‘Water Man of Odisha’ was also present along with other dignitaries.
The event also featured various art performances including puppetry of Bundelkhand, folk art by Lakhan Ahirwar, Rap song Performance by Anchal, Hip hop dance, Odissi dance by Arundhati and Kaysha and lastly Kala Samvad by the accompaniment band of Timarni.
