Deputy Chief Minister meets Railway Minister
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary recently met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav about this railway project. He requested the Railway Minister to start this project soon and give priority to it. It is clear from this initiative that the state government is serious about this railway connectivity.

However, the report states that according to the officials of the Malda Division, the project has not yet received final approval from the construction department of the railway. But it is expected that this process will start soon and work will be started.

Till now, devotees coming from different parts of Patna and Bihar have to take the road to Jasidih station to go to Deoghar and take the road.
