Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh made a powerful statement at the MET Gala 2025, embracing regal Indian elegance for the biggest night in fashion. Before gracing the red carpet, Diljit was seen posing with international stars including Shakira and Nicole Scherzinger in what appeared to be a pre-event photoshoot on a grand staircase.

Exiting the Carlyle Hotel in style, Diljit turned heads with his majestic Maharaja-inspired look. Dressed in a pristine white suit with a matching drape and turban, the singer and actor exuded sophistication. His ornate jewellery and commanding presence earned him praise for blending cultural tradition with contemporary fashion seamlessly.
Diljit is among the few invited to dine inside Anna Wintour’s exclusive soirée. In fact, according to a report in ETimes, Diljit is the only male Indian celebrity to have a seat at MET Gala 2025. This means, he will not only walk the red carpet but also join Anna Wintour’s ultra-exclusive MET Gala dinner. Anna is the editor-in-chief of Vogue and the chief of the event.
This year’s MET Gala theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, is inspired by Monica L Miller’s influential book Slaves to Fashion, celebrating the global influence and artistry of Black fashion and tailoring.
Diljit was among a handful of Indian celebrities to attend the prestigious event. Others spotted on the red carpet included Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, who also made headlines for revealing her baby bump in a Gaurav Gupta gown, and global star Priyanka Chopra.
