The reality show Bigg Boss 18 is all set to witness two evictions this week, and the first contestant will be eliminated during Friday’s episode. As per reports, Digvijay Singh Rathee has been eliminated from the house, after other housemates will tag him as the least deserving contestant.
In a promo released by the makers, Bigg Boss can be seen asking Time God Shrutika Arjun to rank all the contestants according to their popularity and contribution to the show. He will then ask housemates to name the one person who should not be a part of the show going ahead, and as per reports, majority voted for Digvijay to be ousted from the house.
In the promo, Eisha Singh, Chum Darang and Shilpa Shirodkar can be seen breaking down and crying inconsolably. Chahat Pandey, who was one of the closest friends of Digvijay, too can be seen hugging him and crying, while Karan Veer Mehra looked emotional.
Another contestant will be evicted from the Bigg Boss 18 house during the Weekend Ka Vaar. For those unversed, Bigg Boss nominated the entire house, except Time God Shrutika, on Thursday, in exchange for ration supplies.
As soon as reports about Digvijay’s elimination went viral, fans slammed the makers and called the decision “unfair”. Actress Uorfi Javed also shared a video and called the eviction “extremely unfair”.
Digvijay entered Bigg Boss 18 as a wildcard contestant, and post Wednesday’s episode, his sister Sonal took to X to claim that he was “unfairly targetted”.
“Despite giving his best effort and playing with integrity, he was unfairly targeted, which affected his performance as well as hismorale, yet he has and always will keep fighting for his fans and for his family. Janta sab dekh rahi hai (sic),” she wrote.
Prior to Bigg Boss 18, Digvijay was one of the finalists on the reality show, Splitsvilla X5.
