Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): There were different replies in the House over the complaints of misconduct with the family members of a Congress legislator from Mandla Narayan Singh Patta.

The Congress gave a memorandum to the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police (DGP) about the incident. Patta alleged that the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) had misbehaved with his family members and even beaten them up.

Inquiry team did not find the incident to be true, Cm said

In a reply to a question over the issue, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that in its report, the inquiry team did not find the incident to be true.

At the same time, it was also said that a reply on the memorandum, submitted to the CS, was sought from the divisional commissioner Jabalpur.

In another reply, it was said that the police inquiry was incomplete, and the administration will act after the completion of the inquiry, it was said.

In the reply, it was also said the police registered an FIR against the family members of the legislator.

According to Patta, the administration failed to act on the issue. Although he has written to the higher-ups, there was hardly any action on the matter, he said.

The issue was raised in the House, but an attempt was made to avoid a proper reply to it, Patta said.
