Kartik Aaryan and his relationships have always made it to the headlines. Till now, there has been rumours of his link-ups with his co-stars like Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Kriti Sanon. Now, a few days ago, a video had gone viral on social media in which the actor’s new co-star, Sreeleela, was spotted at his family party. Soon, people started speculating that maybe Kartik and the South star are dating, and that’s why she attended his family party. Now, adding the fuel to the fire is Kartik’s mother.
So, a video from IIFA 2025 has made it to the social media in which Karan Johar asks Kartik’s mother, Mala Tiwari, that whom she would choose for her house (Kartik’s wife). The audience started shouting Ananya’s name. But, the actor’s mother said, “Ghar ki demand is a very good doctor.”
Karan quickly tells Kartik, “Aap ek doctor ke saath toh kaam kar rahe hai.” So, the actor says, “Nai nai, woh genuinely doctor bol rahi hai.” Watch the video below…
For the uninitiated, Sreeleela holds a medical degree. She completed her MBBS in 2021. So, now fans are wondering whether Kartik’s mom was hinting at Sreeleela and the actor’s relationship.
Meanwhile, Kartik and Sreeleela have started shooting for their next film which is being directed by Anurag Basu. There were reports that the movie is titled Aashiqui 3, but the makers have not yet officially announced it. However, in a teaser of the film, which was shared a couple of weeks ago, the makers have used a song from the original Aashiqui movie.
The movie will mark Sreeleela’s Bollywood debut, and everyone is keen to see her performance in a Hindi film. She has left a strong mark in Telugu film industry.
The untitled film is slated to release on Diwali this year.
