Dial 100 Reunites Mentally Challenged Woman With Family In Tikamgarh
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A mentally challenged woman was taken to her home by police officers in Madhya Pradesh’s Tikamgarh on Saturday night.
During a patrol by the Dial 100 vehicle in the Lidhora police station area, an helpless woman was found near village Jarua.
The information was provided to the police station in charge. When the police asked for her name and address, she was unable to provide any.
The police then contacted the sarpanch of Jarua village, who identified the woman as Ganeshi Kevat, wife of Bhagwandas alias Halke Kevat, from the same village.
It was revealed that she was mentally disturbed. With the help of the sarpanch, her husband Bhagwandas alias Halke Kevat was contacted, and she was handed over to him.
Similarly, timely assistance was provided to other people in distress across Madhya Pradesh on Saturday night.
12-year-old mute child rescued in Narsinghpur
In Narsinghpur, a 12-year-old deaf and mute child was found wandering late at night. He was lost and unable to find his way home. The Dial-112 FRV (First Response Vehicle) personnel acted quickly and reunited him with his family.
