Dhanashree and Chahal were married in 2020. The two met during the covid lockdown, when Chahal used to go for dance classes. The speculation of divorce intensified when Dhanashree removed her ‘Chahal’ surname from Instagram.

Some media reports claimed that Dhanashree has demanded an alimony of Rs 60 crore for divorce. Dhanashree’s family reacted to this and said,
