Actress-choreographer Dhanashree Verma was recently spotted in Mumbai where she also interacted with paparazzi just days after her divorce from Team India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal was finalised. Several videos of her public appearance have surfaced on social media, drawing attention from fans and followers.
In one of the clips, a paparazzo made a striking remark about her recently-released music video on infidelity, suggesting that it reflects her real-life situation. In response, Dhanashree smiled and gave a thumbs-up. However, she did not say anything.
She also urged people to watch the song if they hadn’t already.
About the song
Dhanashree had dropped the music video just hours before the final divorce verdict. The song is laced with themes of infidelity and abuse in what seems to be a happy marriage from the outside.
Titled Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, the song shows Dhanashree’s husband cheating on her with another woman. At one point, the husband also slaps Dhanashree after he sees her casually exchanging pleasantries with another man, and later, seeking forgiveness for his actions. The song ends with Dhanashree finally breaking all ties and walking away from her cheater and abusive husband and out of the toxic marriage.
Ever since it released, the song has been grabbing eyeballs, more so because of its timing, as it was released by the makers merely a few hours before Dhanashree reached court for her divorce verdict with Chahal.

Dhanashree and Chahal’s divorce
Dhanashree and Chahal officially ended their marriage on March 20, appearing at the family court in Bandra, Mumbai, for the final hearing. The couple had sparked speculation about their separation for months before confirming the news.
They got married in a dreamy ceremony in December 2020, however, as per reports, they had been living separately since June 2022. Even as they shared photos and videos together, it was in December 2024 that reports of their impending divorce first surfaced online.
According to media reports, Chahal will be paying an alimony of Rs 4.75 crore to Dhanashree as part of their divorce settlement.
While neither party has publicly disclosed details about their split, Dhanashree’s latest public outing and her reaction to the paparazzi’s comment have fuelled further curiosity.
