Dewas (Madhya Pradesh): Collector Rishav Gupta held a public hearing at the district headquarters on Tuesday. In the hearing, applicants presented their problems in front of the collector and he took quick action against it. Also, the collector ordered officers of concerned departments to redress applicants’ problems and take action.
During this session, various issues were raised. The collector took swift action during the hearing, instructing officers of relevant departments to address all applications received without delay. The proactive approach aims to ensure that citizens’ needs are met efficiently. During the public hearing, applicant named Bhavna Rawat demanded benefits under Sambal Yojana, on which the collector instructed officers to take proper action.
Similarly, applications regarding benefits of Kutir Yojana was received from Resham Gokul, on which the officer was instructed to take proper action. Dilip, Dinesh, Narayan, Narendra and Ganesh collectively gave an application regarding Residential Lease Transfer, on which the collector directed concerned officials to resolve the application as per rules. Barkat Ali, an applicant gave an application regarding benefits under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on which the collector directed concerned officials to resolve the application as per rules.
Collector Gupta also highlighted the importance of investigating and resolving other applications related to demarcation of land, reduction of electricity bills, nomination and partition issues, removal of encroachments from roads and cleaning of drains. The public hearing served as an essential channel for the community to voice their concerns, ensuring that the administration remains responsive to the needs of its citizens. Instructions were given for quick redressal.
