Nashik: Devotional Fervour on Trimbakeshwar Road As Warakaris March For Nivruttinath Maharaj Pilgrimage | Sourced
Trimbakeshwar Road resonated with the sounds of tal-mridanga and the chants of Vithunama as thousands of Warakaris marched towards Trimbakeshwar. Chariots carrying the sacred images of Vitthal-Rakhumai and Nivruttinath Maharaj, along with those of various dindi processions, created a spiritually charged atmosphere.
The pilgrimage, honouring Sant Shrestha Nivruttinath Maharaj, has attracted dindis from across the state. Nearly 400 dindis arrived in Trimbakeshwar on Saturday. The Warakaris, dressed in traditional attire and singing devotional songs, made their way through the city, spreading an aura of devotion and unity.
At Brahma Valley, the Warakaris participated in traditional bungadi celebrations and a vibrant ring ceremony, which added to the enthusiasm of the pilgrimage. To welcome the groups making their way to Trimbakeshwar, the District Warakari Sampradaya extended their greetings and hospitality at various points along the route.
The annual pilgrimage reflects the unwavering devotion and collective spirit of the Warakari community, as they honour the teachings and legacy of Nivruttinath Maharaj.
