Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed the first session of Manthan Programme by saying that works shall be done in mission mode in coordination with different departments for implementation of activities centred on youth power, women empowerment, farmer welfare and poor.
To create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities at urban and village level, activities shall be conducted as per need. Priority shall be given to readymade garment like industries which are capable of giving employment at large level.
He underlined that by promoting medicinal plant farming and animal husbandry, not only income of families could be increased in rural areas but rural folk will also get nutritious things. He emphasised that government and private partnership shall be encouraged in health, education and all other sectors.
During Manthan Programme, presentation was given on green economy, new and renewable energy, frontier technique for developed India, to create favourable atmosphere in tier two and tier three cities, employment in MSME and informal sector, development of cities as economic development centres, expansion of non-agricultural activities in rural areas and investment.
When women and child development department was giving presentation over malnutrition scenario during Manthan programme on Thursday, Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya took umbrage by stating that when there was Uma Bharti’s reign in the state, almost same kind of figures were shown at that time as well. Hence situation remains almost same even today. Notably, Mohan Yadav government did ‘Manthan’ at Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre over how to make the state prosperous and to ensure benefit for women, poor, youths and farmers.
‘Transport dept lags behind in policy implementation’
Chief Secretary Anurag Jain said that the transport department is infamous for its corrupt practices and is embroiled into a big mess after the recent controversy. He pulled up the department for lagging behind in implementation of scrap vehicle policy. He expressed his displeasure after the presentation on vehicle scrap policy.
