Development should not stop due to weather: Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji has recently taken natural disasters like thunderstorms, strong rains and lightning in some parts of the state. In view of this, he has given clear instructions to the officials that due to these seasonal challenges, there should be no obstruction in development works.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the officers should immediately go to their respective areas and see how much damage has been done due to thunderstorms. Gather complete information about this and solve the problems at the earliest. He insisted that it should be ensured that the pace of development does not slow down due to natural disasters. If a problem arises from the storm, it should be cured by working under MNREGA.
Mr. Maurya also said that important schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana should be completed on time. Also, special attention should be paid to the roads being built under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana so that they too can be prepared on time and people can get their benefits. Overall, their message is clear – development work should be completed rapidly and on time, no matter what the weather is.
