Firozabad, 18 November (HS). Dhangar community demonstrated with sheep and goats outside the DM office on Monday demanding the making of Scheduled Caste certificate. He has demanded to issue the certificate.
Under the leadership of National President of Dhangar Samaj JP Dhangar, a large number of people of Dhangar Samaj reached the district headquarters with sheep and goats on Monday. Where they demonstrated outside the District Magistrate’s office. National President JP Dhangar said that despite the mandate of the state government and the order of the Chief Minister, Scheduled Caste certificates are not being issued to the people of Dhangar community in the tehsils. He told that he has brought sheep and goats with him today so that the officials can know that we are pure Dhangars and our job is to take care of sheep and goats. Their allegation is that these certificates are being issued to some people of the society and to other people these certificates are not being issued. Due to which this demonstration is being held today. Our demand is that Scheduled Caste certificates should be issued to the people of Dhangar community without any discrimination. He has also submitted a memorandum to this effect.
In this regard, Naib Tehsildar Sarita says that Dhangar society has submitted a memorandum demanding issuance of Scheduled Caste certificate. The memorandum will be forwarded by senior officials.
