In the 116th edition of Mann Ki Baat broadcast on All India Radio on the last Sunday of the month, PM Modi said that he will achieve the target of bringing 1 lakh new youth into politics in the next one year. 1 lakh new youth who have no past in politics will be groomed by bringing them into politics.

For this, a special campaign will be run across the country. Next year, on the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, India Youth Leaders Dialogue will be org.zed at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on 11-12 January in which about 2000 youth from all states, districts and villages will participate. Modi said that there is no provision or system like digital arrest in the government. Therefore, people were again appealed to be cautious about digital arrest. He said that digital arrest is a lie and a conspiracy to trap people. He appealed to the youth to help the elderly in the field of digital banking. He appreciated the ongoing library campaign in the country. He mentioned the Prakriti Arivagam Library of Chennai in this context.

NCC inculcates the spirit of discipline, leadership and service in the youth.

Modi said that on NCC Day we remember the old school days. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) inculcates the spirit of discipline, leadership and service among the youth. Whenever any disaster occurs, be it flood or earthquake or any tragedy, NCC cadets reach there and start helping people.
