Delhi Private Schools Admission 2025: The Directorate of Education (DoE) has announced the selection of 1,307 students under the Children with Special Needs (CWSN) category for entry-level admission to private schools in Delhi. This was done through a computerised draw of lots for preschool, Kindergarten (KG), and Class-1 levels. The draw, which took place recently, aims to ensure a transparent and fair admission process.
Admission Deadline and Verification Process
The selected students are required to report to their designated schools for admission on or before May 26. Families of the selected candidates will receive messages with details about their allocated schools and the locations for document verification. If any discrepancies or issues are found with the submitted documents during verification, admission will be canceled. The department emphasised that once a student is allotted a school, no changes will be permitted under any circumstances.
Document Verification and Deficiency Memo
In cases where discrepancies are identified in the documents, a deficiency memo will be issued, allowing families to submit valid or updated documents to confirm eligibility in the CWSN category. The deadline to resolve document issues is April 11.
Automated Draw Process
The admission process for the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), DG (Disadvantaged Groups), and CWSN categories is conducted through an automated computerised draw, ensuring no manual interference. This process ensures fairness and transparency, as stated in the circular issued by the DoE on February 27.
Warning Against Fraudulent Claims
The DoE has also warned individuals and organisations against falsely claiming to influence or guarantee admissions under the EWS, DG, or CWSN categories. Schools are urged to avoid any official or unofficial dealings with such entities. Any complaints or information regarding such activities should be reported to the DoE’s official email for further legal action.
