Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Central government officials from New Delhi were in Bhopal on Monday to observe the functioning of Sampada-2.0 online portal.
According to Anand Pandey, sub registrar, department of stamps and registration, their visit was aimed at assessing portal’s impact and its potential for implementation in other states.
The department officials guided the New Delhi officials through a step-by-step demonstration of registration process using Sampada – 2.0 portal.
The online portal has made the property registration process in Madhya Pradesh simpler and faster, making it easier and more convenient for the public.
The demonstration, which was held in the presence of Brijesh Shukla, the senior district sub-registrar, provided a detailed insight into the functionality and operational aspects of the system, showcasing how it works in real-time.
Initially, the Sampada 2.0 portal slowed down considerably and caused significant difficulties in accessing the system during a live demonstration given to senior officials of the Department of Stamps and Registration at the office of the District Registrar near ISBT here on Monday. However, after some time, its functions gradually stabilized, and the system started operating normally without further disruptions.
