Delhi Metro’s Special Travel Arrangements For Students

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is going the extra mile to ensure that students appearing for the CBSE Board Examinations 2025 enjoy a smooth and comfortable travel experience.

With about 3.30 lakh students and thousands of school officials travelling across the city between Feb 15 and April 4, 2025, DMRC has partnered CISF for special facilitation arrangements on metro stations.

Student-Friendly Steps:

Priority Security Checking: Priorities would be given to those possessing their CBSE Admit cards during security checks at metro stations.

Smooth Ticketing: Preferential seating in buying tickets at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centers will be provided to admit card holders.

Pre-Exam Preparations: DMRC personnel visited schools, met with the principals, and introduced them to the nearest metro stations and assistance to students.

Travel Planning Support: DMRC has asked schools to put up posters with information about the nearest metro station along with a QR code in order to help students reserve tickets easily.

Special Announcements: Special announcements will be provided in metro stations to guide students.

Metro Stations close to Exam Centres: Comprehensive list of metro stations around exam centers has been displayed on the DMRC website and official mobile app for ready reference.
