Delhi Metro Blue Line Disruption Due To Cable Theft Creates Problem For Commuters
Delhi Metro’s Blue Line experienced delays on Thursday (December 5) due to cable theft. The services were impacted between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar. Passengers taking the trains on Blue Line are likely to experience hassles as Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has said that the issue will be rectified by the end of operational hours in the night.
The cable theft means that train services will operate at slower, restricted speed on the affected section, said DMRC.
It is however possible that services on the rest of the Blue Line section will be impacted. DMRC has advised passengers to plan their journey accordingly
DMRC took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and made an announcement.
