Delhi-Jaipur Expressway: Now the journey from Delhi to Jaipur will be decided in just two and a half hours

To improve road transport in the country, the central government has been paying special attention to expressway construction for the last few years. In this sequence, the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway is being constructed rapidly to connect the capital Delhi and Pink City Jaipur. This project is going to be completed soon, which will reduce the time of travel between Delhi to Jaipur.

Currently, it takes about 6 hours or more to go from Delhi to Jaipur, but after the expressway is built, this distance can be completed in just two and a half hours. The speed limit of vehicles on this expressway has been fixed at 120 kmph.

Bandikui-Jaipur Link Road will be ready by June

According to the National Highway Authority (NHAI), the about 67 km long link road between Bandikui and Jaipur Ring Road will be ready by June. After this, vehicles will be able to reach Jaipur directly from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. This new route will be about 33 kilometers smaller than the present.

The problem of jam will end

Currently, vehicles going from Delhi to Jaipur have to pass through the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Dausa and then have to go to Jaipur via old NH-21. This 4-lane highway passes through many villages and cities, causing traffic jams at various places and it takes 2 to 3 hours to cover a distance of about 100 kilometers. The new expressway will overcome this problem.

The way from Delhi to Jaipur will be straight

NHAI is not only building a link road from Bandikui to Jaipur, but is providing a direct route from Delhi’s DND flyway to Jaipur. With this, passengers will not need to pass through Gurugram or Faridabad. However, the work of a railway overbridge is left on this route, after which passengers will be able to reach the link road directly from the expressway.
