Justice Verma case: Judge Yashwant Verma, who was transferred from Delhi High Court to Allahabad High Court after receiving large quantity of cash from his house, is currently under investigation by a three -judge committee. During the Holi festival, a fire broke out in the house of Judge Yashwant Verma and the fire team that went to extinguish the fire found a large amount of cash in a room in a room. Amid this development, the Supreme Court has constituted a committee of three judges to investigate the entire case.

 

Amid this situation, the Delhi High Court released a daily work list on 21 April, stating that all the cases included in the list which were included for hearing by a bench of Justice Yashwant Verma and Justice Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar have been given the next date. The cases on which no order has been issued will be heard again. This note has a list of 52 cases including civil writ petitions. These cases are between 2013 and 2015. There are 22 cases challenging the constitutional validity of the property tax NDMC Act.
