The Election Commission has announced the dates of Delhi Assembly elections today. When will the voting be held on 70 seats of Delhi and every information about the elections was given by the Election Commission in the press conference today. Voting will take place in Delhi in a single phase. Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said that voting will be held in Delhi on February 5 and counting of votes will take place on February 8.
According to the final voter list of Bha elections, there are a total of 1,55,24,858 voters. This includes 83.49 lakh male and 71.14 lakh female voters. While there are 1261 third gender voters. This time there are 2.08 lakh first time voters in the elections. Out of 70 seats in Delhi Assembly, 50 are general and 12 are SC seats. Any party will need 36 magical figures to form the government.
The tenure of Delhi Assembly is till 23 February 2025. Aam Aadmi Party has first fielded its candidates on 70 seats for Delhi elections. After this, Congress has so far announced 48 candidates through three lists. Whereas BJP has fielded 29 of its candidates through the first list. It is expected that in a day or two all the political parties will declare the list of their candidates.
