BJP MLA Rekha Gupta has been elected the new Chief Minister of Delhi. Today is a historic day for the party as the BJP has returned to power in the capital after 27 years. Rekha Gupta, Sushma Swaraj, Sheela Dixit and Atishi are the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi. Chief Minister of BJP ruled states and Union Ministers were present at the swearing -in ceremony. Prime Minister Modi has also reached the swearing -in ceremony.
Ashish Sood-Manjinder Sirsa sworn in as minister
BJP MLA from Janakpuri Ashish Sood was sworn in as a minister. After Ashish Sood, BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden took the oath of office. Sirsa took oath in Punjabi.
Pravesh Verma also sworn in as Delhi Cabinet Minister
Pravesh Verma has been sworn in as Delhi’s Cabinet Minister. He took oath of office after Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Pravesh Verma defeated Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi assembly seat.

Rekha Gupta has sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi. LG administered the oath to Rekha Gupta. The new Chief Minister has been given Z category security. Tight security arrangements have also been made at his house.

Talking to the media before taking oath, Rekha Gupta said that I have been given a big responsibility. I thank Prime Minister Modi and the top leadership for showing confidence in the daughter of an ordinary family like me. I will fulfill my responsibility with full potential, power and honesty.

Delhi’s future Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was seen showing the victory symbol at Ramlila Maidan with Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Premchand Bairwa and senior BJP leader Vasundhara Raje.

BJP’s rule has returned to Delhi after 27 years. Rekha Gupta has taken oath as Chief Minister. 50 -year -old Rekha Gupta is the ninth Chief Minister of Delhi. Rekha is the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi after Sushma Swaraj, Sheila Dixit and Atishi. On Wednesday, he was elected the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. Rekha Gupta along with six MLAs also took oath as a minister. MLAs who took oath as ministers include Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj, Kapil Mishra and Pankaj Singh.
