Corona period is rotting in hospitals – Rekha Gupta
During the raid, CM Rekha Gupta found that thousands of equipment and medical materials of Korona period are rotting in the warehouses. They said,
“Hospitals in Delhi have been made a dumping ground. Those who ask for an account of two and a half thousand crores, they should see what the plight of the health system has been made. ”
He further explained that a large amount of unumed medical equipment was lying in the same hospital warehouse, including:
- 458 oxygen concentrator
- 140 ventilator
- 36,000 PPE Kit
Rekha Gupta claimed that this situation is not only in a hospital, but of many government hospitals in Delhi, where medical resources are being rotten in vain.
Questions raised on the plight of hospitals built during Korona period
CM Gupta said that 7 Emergency Hospitals were built in Delhi during Korona, but now they have all been victims of plight.
- Buildings were erected without any planning in the parking and sports ground of these hospitals.
- Rading a “POTA cabin” does not make a hospital, but a right health system is required.
- A building in Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital is still incomplete, and 60% of the work remains.
- These seven buildings were built at a cost of Rs 12 crore, but they are lying idle due to lack of proper use.
