The CAG report has shown that Delhi’s health services are present only on paper. Due to this, there have been many shocking revelations in the CAG report. According to this report, in the last 6 years, there has been serious fault and financial rigging in Delhi’s Public Health Services. 14 hospitals do not have ICU and toilet facilities are also not available in Mohalla clinics.

 

Big disclosure in CAG report

According to the report, only Rs 582.84 crore was spent out of Rs 787.91 crore received from the central government to deal with Kovid-19. While the remaining amount has not been used. This led to a huge shortage of necessary facilities during the Korona crisis. The CAG report on Delhi’s health services has led to many shocking revelations. The Aam Aadmi Party has been accused of mismanagement and corruption of money.

According to the report, Rs 30.52 crore was not spent out of Rs 52 crore received for the recruitment and salary of health workers. It is clear that the government did not recruit enough health workers. Due to which people had to face a lot of difficulties in getting treatment during the epidemic. Similarly, Rs 100 crore was received for medicines, PPE kits and other medical supply. 119. Out of 85 crores, Rs. 83.14 crore rupees were not spent at all. There is a lack of essential services here and the condition of Mohalla clinics is bad. ICU services were not available in 14 out of 27 hospitals. The ambulance was also being operated without essential equipment.

Status of mohalla clinics

The condition of Mohalla clinics is also looking bad. 21 Mohalla clinics do not have toilets. 15 clinics did not have power backup facility. Six clinics did not even have a table for doctors. There were no facilities for the disabled in 12 clinics. The CAG report has revealed the reality of Delhi’s health services. In the Kovid period, the mismanagement of government money indicates a huge shortage of essential facilities in hospitals, a huge shortage of staff and corruption. Now the government will have to respond to this negligence done on public health.
