The mother of engineer Atul Subhash, who committed suicide by recording a video, has received a setback from the Supreme Court regarding the custody of her grandson. The court said that the child will live with his mother. The Supreme Court has rejected the demand of Atul Subhash’s mother. However, the court allowed Atul Subhash’s mother to approach the lower court to get the custody of the child.
Atul’s mother Anjudevi demanded the court to hand over her four-year-old grandson. In the petition, Anjudevi said that Nikita and her family harassed Atul for money by implicating him in a false case. Due to this he had to commit suicide. Now Nikita Singhania’s family is facing hurdles in searching for the child. Atul’s son is not safe with him. Justice B.V. The bench of Justice Nagarathna and Justice Sharma heard Anjudevi’s RG.
The court also refused to give them the custody of the child on January 7 saying that they were strangers to the child. Please meet the child if they wish. There is a different process if you want custody of the child.
In the hearing, the lawyer appearing for Subhash’s estranged wife Nikita Singhania told the court that the child is studying in a boarding school in Haryana.
