The Delhi-Alwar railway project has been approved at a cost of Rs 2500 crore to strengthen railway connectivity between Delhi and Alwar. This ambitious project will make the years old dream of the people of Mewat come true and they will get new opportunities for employment and business. Also, reaching Delhi will be even easier.

Railway Minister approves project

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has recently approved Delhi-Sohna-Noon-Firozepur Jhirka-Alwar railway line. This railway track was being demanded for the last two decades, which concrete steps are now being taken towards realizing. This project will rapidly develop the Mewat region of Haryana and Alwar district.

Travel to Delhi will be easy and cheap

The construction of this new railway line will reduce the distance from Alwar, Ramgarh and Naugawa to Delhi and the journey will become more convenient and economical. From this project:

  • Farmers will get a better market for their crops and products in Delhi.
  • Traders will get an opportunity to bring goods from Delhi at a lower cost.
  • Job opportunities in Delhi will be more accessible for youth.
  • Traffic pressure on National Highway 248A and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be reduced.
  • People will get relief from toll tax and save time.

Mewat will get a new development path

The Haryana government and the central government have taken this historic decision for the development of Mewat region. The construction of the railway line will expand the basic facilities in this area and improve the transport system.
