Delhi Airport: In view of the preparations for the Republic Day celebrations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), a temporary ban on flights will remain in force for the next eight days from January 26. During this period from 10:20 am to 12:45 pm, no aircraft will land or depart. These restrictions are necessary for flypasts and other preparations.
Delhi airport will remain closed for 145 minutes
Indira Gandhi International Airport is the busiest airport in India, handling around 1,300 flights every day. Air services will be disrupted for 145 minutes every day from January 19 to January 26, 2025. for this restriction NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) Has been issued, which gives information on operation of flights in special circumstances.
Delhi Airport said in its official statement,
“From January 19 to 26, from 10:20 am to 12:45 pm, no flights will arrive or depart from here.”
Passengers have been advised to contact their airlines and check flight schedules before their travel.
Traffic advisory and plan of Noida
In view of Republic Day, Noida Traffic Police has also issued a special traffic advisory. To smoothly conduct the rehearsal and main function, restrictions have also been imposed on the entry of goods vehicles.
- From 10 pm on 22nd January till the end of rehearsals on the morning of 23rd January.,
Goods vehicles will be banned in Delhi border. - From 10 pm on 25 January till the end of the celebrations on 26 January,
Entry of goods carriers will be completely prohibited.
