A dejected Suhana Khan, Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, was seen leaving the Wankhede Stadium after the crushing defeat to the Mumbai Indians on March 31, Monday. In a video shared on social media, Suhana was seen stepping into her car and was accompanied by heavy security personnel.
Kolkata Knight Riders came up against a fiery spell from debutant Ashwani Kumar, who snared four wickets in Ajinkya Rahane, Rinku Singh, Manish Pandey and Andre Russell to demolish them for 116 in 16.2 overs. Later, Ryan Rickelton’s 62 helped the home side gun down the target with more than seven overs to spare as the Mumbai Indians were finally able to get on board after two consecutive defeats.

“You need one batter to bat through and stay till the end” – Ajinkya Rahane
At the post-match presentation, Rahane pinned down the defeat to a collective batting failure and that a total of 180-190 would have been a handful on the surface. The 36-year-old said:
“Collective batting failure, it was a good wicket to bat on. 180-190 would have been a good total on this pitch. We expect that (here), it has good bounce. When you are fighting against the bounce, that is what we did, you have to use it sometimes – we have to learn really fast. Bowlers were trying their best but not much runs on the board. We kept on losing wickets – four in the powerplay and after that, it was difficult to consolidate. You need one batter to bat through and stay till the end but that did not happen.”
